Literature Text

Shedding tears is not that uncanny;
To be quite frank, it should not be an enigma,
But for the boy who lost his eyes, it’s quite the drama —
Things for him, his heart, mind and soul, drowned and bleary.

“Daijoubu. This is what makes me human.”
He replied with such tenacity, like a true man.
It should not be an enigma,
But for the boy who lost his eyes, it’s quite the drama

It is still a bother, how can he be this uncanny?
He answered with the canniness of his being uncanny.
“Because with these eyes I can see everything clearly…”
“And it depresses me.”

I wonder, why would you throw it away with eyes of a glittering sun?
“It is true throwing it away is a waste. Luckily, I gave them to someone.”
It should not be an enigma,
But for the boy who lost his eyes, it’s quite the drama.

I still wonder, why would tears fall from your empty eyes?
“Because I became human. It feels quite nice.”
Another answer with the canniness of his being uncanny.
“Although I wish I can help him use my eyes and see.”

If he does not even bother using it, why not take it?
“He needs it more than I. I would rather not take it.”
“I know him more than anyone. Even if it takes forever…”
“This is what I wanted. What I seek. I will wait, for that forever.”

What exactly is it that you wanted so badly?
To be that uncanny, give a part of his body faithfully.
“He gave me what I lack.”
“These feelings that I used to lack.”

It should not be an enigma,
But for the boy who lost his eyes, it’s quite the drama.
“With my eyes, I saw what he is lacking.”
“The void he created. The space he is lacking.”

How can he answer with such canniness of while being uncanny?
“It is not that an enigma, you see.”
“These are the things that you fail to see.”
“I will wait for that forever, until you are able to see.”

“I will wait for that day – until I can be by your side.”
“Hide those eyes, and call yourself dehumafied…”
“I will show you another side;”
“And me by your side.”
