A girl with a glass eye
and at night glistens with gore.
A familiar face, it seems,
that girl outside
my bathroom door.
A random fruit bat passed by
and the girl watched it soar.
Under the moonlit sky she gleams –
that girl outside
my bathroom door.
Into similar eyes she pries
then stares down on the floor.
Her mouth uttered silent screams –
that girl outside
my bathroom door.
And with a downreaching sigh,
those petrifying eyes, she ignores
while subtly glancing onto her inseam
that girl outside
my bathroom door.
When she bid me goodbye
and cautiously closed the door,
the room steadily dims
and the girl outside
my bathroom door,
at last was no more.
